This 148 mm diameter by 240 mm long cartridge is the compact acid-gas member of the cylinder family. Sixteen cylinders populate a 610 x 610 mm opening to provide 1250 m3/h at 80 Pa initial resistance. Its short bed reduces installed depth and media mass relative to the longer 2600- and 3500-class units, making it suitable where space is limited and acid loading is moderate. The impregnated media formulation must be selected for the identified gases, not simply by cartridge length.

The 240 mm body fits shallow molecular sections and local equipment where the longer cylinder families would conflict with service clearance.

Modular sixteen-cylinder layout

A standard 610 mm square bank uses sixteen cartridges, allowing individual elements to be locked into a dedicated frame.

Reactive acid media

Impregnated adsorbent is selected for the required acid challenge, supporting chemisorption where untreated VOC carbon would be unsuitable.

Applications

For compact cleanroom-support supply, recirculation or local corrosion-control equipment exposed to acidic gases. Use a suitable particulate prefilter and confirm the acid species, humidity and required useful life before fixing the cylinder count.

Solutions for Your Application

The shallow bank may run out of chemical capacity under a sustained acid load.Calculate exposure from measured concentration and airflow; move to a longer bed or increase bank area if the 240 mm cylinder cannot meet the service interval.

Cylinder-to-frame leakage can bypass the acid media even when the cartridges are new.Use the matched locking frame, inspect every molded seal and verify that all sixteen cylinders are fully seated.
