This pre-filter uses an 8 mm thermally bonded polyolefin medium that can be removed, washed and returned to service after complete drying. Its ISO Coarse 30% grade, 2.0 m/s nominal media velocity and 30 Pa clean resistance suit equipment intakes where airflow availability matters more than fine-particle capture. The open mat is intended to intercept lint and larger debris before internal components.

Applications

Suitable for machinery cooling openings, clean-utility ventilation, return grilles and other accessible intake points exposed mainly to lint or large particles. It is not a substitute for a fine or final filter where small-particle control is required.

A denser pre-filter reduces cooling airflow through compact equipment.The 8 mm ISO Coarse 30% medium provides basic screening at a nominal 2.0 m/s velocity and 30 Pa starting resistance.

Repeated washing causes an unsupported mat to sag.Retain the bonded medium evenly around its perimeter and replace it if the fibers no longer recover after cleaning.
