Is a fully flush door necessary at a service-room entrance?
The semi-flush arrangement offers a defined shallow transition when the room layout permits it.
The door uses a sandwich blade with a bonded core between two metal faces. Its distinguishing detail is the semi-flush relationship between the surround and the wall surfaces on both sides of the opening. The selected single-action leaf provides ordinary hinged access while retaining a shallow frame transition. Aluminum honeycomb or rock wool can form the interior, allowing the door construction to be coordinated with the surrounding single-piece partition system.
