Введение продукции

The U17 low-resistance selection delivers at least 99.999995% efficiency at MPPS with a nominal clean resistance of 0.55 in. w.g. at 100 fpm. Although described as low resistance within its efficiency class, it still requires more fan pressure than the U15 and U16 versions. It is best purchased for defined critical tools or zones, with the 35 mm ePTFE pack installed in the seal frame the equipment actually uses.

Основные характеристики

Highest-grade pressure control

The supported membrane limits clean resistance to a documented value while meeting the most demanding U17 acceptance level.

Selective deployment value

Using U17 only at the most sensitive points avoids imposing its higher pressure demand across less critical ceiling areas.

Seal-ready aluminum frame

Gasket, reverse-gel and knife-edge perimeter choices allow the high-grade pack to fit varied tool interfaces.

Applications

Specified for critical semiconductor tools, mini-environments and metrology enclosures that require U17 but still need controlled pressure loss. Fan reserve, test velocity and the receiving seal should be confirmed for each tool family.

Solutions for Your Application

The term low resistance is interpreted as equal to the U15 pressure drop.Use the actual U17 value of 0.55 in. w.g. at 100 fpm when checking the tool fan curve.
A critical tool is shut down because the replacement seal profile differs from the original.Capture the old filter's perimeter section, seal side and exact dimensions in the replacement specification before ordering.
