Protected final-filter stage
Replaceable upstream particle filters collect larger dust before it reaches the HEPA cassette.
The negative-pressure HEPA filtration unit places the prefilter and HEPA cassette upstream of a variable-speed centrifugal blower. Particle-laden room air enters the guarded intake, passes through the filters and leaves through a round exhaust collar. Gasketed access panels form the intake-side enclosure, while a differential gauge indicates filter resistance. This draw-through arrangement places the filter compartment under suction during normal operation; the downstream blower outlet is a different pressure region. With a suitable duct route beyond the work enclosure, the machine can form part of a temporary exhaust system. When the discharge returns entirely to the same room, it operates as a recirculating air scrubber instead.
Replaceable upstream particle filters collect larger dust before it reaches the HEPA cassette.
The round collar accepts a matched adapter and flexible duct rather than relying on an open discharge grille.
An accessible filter compartment allows the cassette and its sealing contact surfaces to be inspected during replacement.
A selected variable-speed package allows manual adjustment as the connected airflow path changes.
Temporary particle-control enclosures need a usable exhaust path, replaceable filters and clear operating checks.
Common selectable specifications for portable HEPA negative-air equipment are shown below. Select the fan, filter and duct package together to suit the required exhaust duty.
| Operating Arrangement | Room-air intake through prefilters and HEPA, followed by a blower and ducted discharge outside the work enclosure |
|---|---|
| Prefiltration | Replaceable coarse prefilter; additional intermediate particle-filter stage available |
| Final-Filter Choices | Gasketed HEPA cassette; H13 or H14 filter-package options |
| Common Nominal Airflow Classes | Approximately 350–1200 m³/h with HEPA fitted, depending on the selected fan and filter package |
| Common Duct Adapter | Nominal 10 in (254 mm) round flexible-duct adapter; alternative sizes selectable |
| Common Electrical Variants | 115 V AC, 60 Hz, or 230 V AC, 50/60 Hz; separate single-phase versions |
| Blower Control | Local variable-speed control; stepped-speed alternative available |
| Filter Condition Indication | Filter differential-pressure gauge; filter-change indicator available |
| Служба фильтрации | Removable intake-side access panel and mechanically retained, gasketed final filter |
| Cabinet Construction | Powder-coated metal enclosure with carry handles and mobile support |
| Customization | Доступно в зависимости от предполагаемого применения и операционной среды. |
The usual arrangement combines prefiltration, a retained HEPA cassette, a blower and an exhaust connection. Select monitoring accessories separately; a filter-loading indication does not provide closed-loop room-pressure control.
Identify the enclosure volume, intentional supply air, leakage paths and discharge destination. A pressure deficit requires a balanced exhaust arrangement; returning all filtered air to the same enclosure does not provide it. For air polishing without an exhaust route, compare the mobile cleanroom air purifier.
Select the blower using the installed HEPA, duct length, bends, adapters and terminal resistance. A catalogue airflow range is not the delivered exhaust volume through every duct layout. Keep the discharge route secured and sealed: the fan outlet and its downstream duct must not be assumed to be under suction.
The filter gauge helps track resistance through the filtration section. Room differential pressure is a separate measurement between the enclosure and the adjacent area, using its own sensing points. If a pressure alarm or automatic control is needed, specify the room monitor, fan-failure response and operating sequence as a separate package.
Reserve withdrawal space at the intake panel, isolate electrical power for HEPA service and handle loaded filters according to the collected material. Check the replacement cassette dimensions, gasket seating and retention before restarting. This general particle-filtration configuration is not specified for infectious isolation, potent-compound handling, combustible dust, explosive atmospheres or solvent-vapour extraction; those duties require separately engineered equipment and exhaust provisions.
