Server-oriented integration
FFU data can feed manufacturing or analytics platforms rather than only a building controller.
This industrial IoT gateway connects the Modbus RTU FFU layer to server-based data platforms using OPC UA or MQTT over Ethernet. It is intended for semiconductor and advanced-manufacturing sites that need fan telemetry outside a conventional BMS. The upstream protocol choice differentiates it from Modbus TCP and BACnet IP building-control gateways.
FFU data can feed manufacturing or analytics platforms rather than only a building controller.
OPC UA supports structured industrial access, while MQTT supports broker-based telemetry.
Existing Modbus fan devices remain on their RS485 segment.

Suitable for semiconductor and advanced-manufacturing sites integrating FFU telemetry with plant historians, dashboards or data platforms. Topic, namespace and point mappings should be defined before deployment.
Choose OPC UA, MQTT or both; define security, broker or server details, point map and Ethernet settings. Confirm data ownership and write permissions.
