The heavy-duty assembly fits into the lower edge of a swing door and carries a wraparound outer gasket together with an internal silicone element. Its spring-loaded parallel mechanism lowers the sealing section at closure and lifts it clear soon after opening begins. Silver anodized aluminum and gray silicone form the standard visible materials. The carrier is suited to deeper door preparations where a slim single-element seal is not the intended construction.
